MORMONS

"Mr." Sharpton,

You should be so ashamed of yourself for saying what you did about Mitt Romney and assuming to your poor audience that Mormons don't believe in God!! That is so far from the truth that it shows how ignorant you are in not knowing anything at all about Mormons! I beg to differ with you and feel that we, as Mormons, believe in God more so than you do, as we would never say that about someone else who is "supposed" to be a religious figure!

You're truly a disgusting person & even an apology isn't good enough for Mitt Romney, although I know he would accept it because he is a faithful Mormon (yes, we do most certainly believe in God!) and believes in forgiveness! Obviously, you don't
as in the Imus situation -- but Mormons do forgive and believe in God! Do some research and find out what we are all about and you might get your eyes opened!!!

Disustedly,

A HUGE FAN FOR MITT ROMNEY
PRESIDENT 2008!!!

MORMONS

Just as most Mormons and US Citizens know little about the history of the African Slaves in the United States, most non-Mormons don't know the history of Mormons in the United States. Al could have been a lot more pejorative by giving Mitt a bad time about his holy under-ware, rather than the crack about not believing in God. Al, did you ever hear about the Utah war? The Mormons fled the US because of persecution both at the hands of so called "believers", and from the control of the United States Government to the Mexican territory. My great-great-grandfather was one of them. You can read more about him in my mother's novel:

Not only is it a good read, it gives some of the history that Al could have used to berate his competition with a little more knowledge and finesse! ;-)
