It's a pity Al Sharpton is using the Imus issue for his political gain. His over reaction is a true reflection of his racist ideology and he cares not of the people and kids who benefit from Imus' charitable endeavors. Sharpton should apologise for any losses these beneficiaries of Imus' charities might suffer. But then again I bet he won't as he is only a man of words and not of true heart. He can't lead America

Selective Morality of the Reverends Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton Concerning the Don Imus Controversy
WASHINGTON, April 12 -
Christian Defense Coalition wonders why Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton are not demonstrating outside the offices of rap record lapels or rap radio stations that daily put forth vile and degrading portrayals of women.
Or, why they are not demanding that record label executives that promote such demeaning portrayals of women, such as Don Imus did, also be fired.
The Christian Defense Coalition hopes that the anger and outrage of Jackson and Sharpton against Don Imus is not based primarily on the fact that he is white, while ignoring black rap artists and executives that continually violate and degrade African-American women.
People of faith should speak out with passion and conviction against sexism wherever it rears its ugly head, and from whomever spews it forth, regardless of skin color.
Rev. Patrick J. Mahoney, Director of the Christian Defense Coalition, comments, “The comments of Don Imus regarding the Rutgers women’s basketball team are repugnant, hateful and demeaning, not only to women, but to all of society. The outpouring of criticism and condemnation against his vile words are both warranted and justified. However, one wonders why Rev. Jesse Jackson and Rev. Al Sharpton are showing selective moral outrage in the matter.
For example, why aren’t they leading protests outside of rap record labels or radio stations where rap performers portray women in the most vile of terms every day? Why aren’t they calling for record label executives and DJ’s to be fired, who spew forth degrading remarks about African-American women in a far worse manner than Don Imus?
I simply ask Rev. Jackson and Rev. Sharpton, where have you been when women are being violated like this every day by rap and hip-hop artists?
My hope and prayer is that both clergymen are not basing their selective response on the fact that Don Imus is white and most rap artists are African- American. The demeaning and degrading of women must be condemned continually on every level. It shouldn’t matter if those hateful comments are being made by ignorant, thoughtless white talk show hosts or by ignorant, thoughtless black rap performers.”

One question that I would like to pose to the Rev, Sharpton , is "do you have your fingers in your ears and your head in the sand when Black Men who masquerade as artists call black women 'nappy head, bi.. or hos'"?. You sir are the perfect example of a bigoted black man. Why don't you picket the music studios of these so called artists and their music executives? Shut them down, have them fined million of dollars. Why do you turn a blind eye when black men disrespect black women, is it because these artists are lining your pockets with money to support your political campaign?. You do not care one iota about black women, you rant and rave when a White man uses disgusting words on the radio to describe our beautiful black sisters, but turn a blind eye and smirk when those same words are used by Black rappers and young black women are exploited as they gyrate half naked in these music videos that denigrate black womanhood. Shame on you sir, double shame and you call yourself a man of the cloth. I'm a black woman, but I certainly do not want you or the likes of you championing my cause, I have no respect for men like you. When black men across America stand up and take a stand against men (black or white) who exploit my black sisters then we will see a change in the sexist and racist attitude towards black women. Rev. Sharpton, put your money where your mouth is! Stand up and be a man and denounce Black men on the radio who denigrate black womanhood. The words that Mr Imus used were mild compared to what is used on radio and music videos against black women BY BLACK MEN!
